Meet Our Team

Dr. Amir Soltani, RAUD, RHIP, is a highly experienced clinical audiologist who has served the Vancouver Lower Mainland for over 28 years. He is the founder and former owner of one of the region's leading audiology practices, which he successfully built into one of the most trusted providers of hearing healthcare in the Vancouver Lower Mainland, with multiple locations.

Since 2004, Dr. Soltani has also shared his expertise as a Clinical Instructor at the University of British Columbia, contributing to the education and professional development of future audiologists. In addition, he has been involved in training audiology students from several other universities, including Dalhousie University, McGill University, the University of South Florida, and Queensland University in Brisbane. He is also a long-standing supporter and contributor to the Hear 4U Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing hearing aid services on a pro bono basis to underserved communities.

In 2023, Dr. Soltani sold his practice and recently joined North Vancouver Hearing Aids Center at Northview Pharmacy & Hearing, where he continues his commitment to delivering exceptional hearing care to the community.

For over 40 years Vikki has practiced actively in the Hearing Professions. She worked in a Public Health Audiology Clinic serving the Pacific Northwest for 15 years before moving to the Vancouver area to serve in Private Practice where she continues to work.

Over the years she has been actively working and volunteering to promote hearing services and hearing health in a variety of settings both domestically and abroad. Here in British Columbia she has assisted in the establishment of nine successful hearing clinics over the years. In her volunteer services, she has taught hearing testing and hearing aid fitting to clinic staff in Zimbabwe, Uganda and Bali, Indonesia. She currently supports and sponsors a school for Deaf Children in Bali.

Dr. Navid Shahnaz is an experienced audiologist with over 30 years of clinical expertise in diagnosing hearing loss, evaluating balance disorders, and helping patients manage tinnitus and hyperacusis. He is widely recognized for his advanced skills in diagnostic audiology and for using the latest evidence-based techniques to assess middle-ear, inner-ear, and auditory-brain function.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Shahnaz is also an active researcher and professor who has taught and conducted studies at several universities across Canada and the United States. His research focuses on improving hearing and balance assessments, early detection of auditory disorders, and developing more effective approaches for tinnitus and sound sensitivity.

Dr. Shahnaz is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care and helping patients understand their hearing and balance health with clarity and confidence.
